Hey guys!! I wanted to share swatches and my review of the Make Up For Ever Lustrous Shadow Palette I got from Sephora. I was browsing the Sephora website and saw this palette and had to have it!! The shadows are my perfect colors and I think its beautiful!!
MAKE UP FOR EVER LUSTROUS SHADOW PALETTE PROS //
- 9 MATTE SHADOWS 3 SHIMMER SHADOWS – Tons of shadows to create natural or bold looks.
- CREAMY AND BLENDABLE FORMULA – I was impressed with the quality of the eyeshadows. I enjoy MUF eyeshadows they blend well and build nicely.
- VARIETY OF SHADES TO CREATE COMPLETE EYE LOOK – No need to reach for another palette. You have multiple crease shades, brow bone highlights and plenty of darker shades and color.
- ONLY $49 – I think this is available at a great price point. If it were any more I wouldn’t have purchased it.

- CHEAP PACKAGING – I was so excited when I saw the front of the package where the lips are because its like a jelly cushion on the front but when you open the package the shadows are in a foam black packaging and it is not adhered to the bottom so they can fall out.
- REPETATIVE SHADES – How many cranberry eyeshadows do I need?
- NO MIRROR ON PACKAGING – Maybe I’m picky but I tend to like a mirror on my eyeshadow palettes because I like to travel with them.
- KICK BACK – In the bottom picture you can see how much kick up I had when I was only swatching them.
I think this palette is worth the money. I dont mind the kickback of the shadows because that means they are finely milled and will blend and build good. I love the shades that are added into the palette with the cranberry shades. This is a palette I wouldn’t need to reach for anything else to create an eye look and I feel like I could do natural or bold looks with this palette. The price is right and the formula is great so I feel like this is something you should get if you enjoy eye shadow palettes.
